Water games through the eyes of Archimedes
Which laws and phenomena determine whether a body immersed in water floats or sinks? What forces allow ships to float on the sea even though they are made of "heavy" materials?

Let's retrace the experiments carried out by Archimedes in the second century BC to determine the buoyancy of bodies. With the experimental method, we will discover the principles of buoyancy and learn how to determine if an egg is still fresh!
This project is designed for the final classes of primary school and for lower secondary school (recommended age: 9-12 years). It can be carried out over 5 sessions of 1 hour each.
